As Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the F&B operations in our Blackpool venue, overseeing everything from team leadership and guest experience to compliance, planning, and event delivery. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll be instrumental in shaping service standards, driving revenue, and delivering a first-class hospitality experience.

Roles and Responsibilities
Operations
- Lead and manage all F&B operations, always taking a proactive, guest-facing approach.
- Drive service quality and revenue—especially during peak hours and events.
- Uphold our brand standards in food, beverage, and overall service delivery.
- Plan effective rotas to ensure skilled leadership is present across all shifts.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and F&B areas are kept clean and compliant.
- Oversee ordering, stock levels, and inventory across the department.
- Lead team briefings and collaborate closely with the Head Chef and OM Hosting.
- Coordinate and deliver the venue’s events and entertainment programme.
Guest Experience
- Provide a consistent, high-quality food and drink service every day.
- Actively respond to guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead a customer-first culture—championing service excellence and guest advocacy.
- Support junior team members in meeting service standards and professional development.
- Assist the gaming team with hospitality service where appropriate.
People Leadership
- Represent the F&B function in senior management meetings and planning sessions.
- Run regular team huddles, forums, and meetings in collaboration with the Head Chef and OM Hosting.
- Forecast staffing needs and manage recruitment and onboarding.
- Build and nurture a capable, multi-skilled, and service-focused F&B team.
- Be a true advocate for your team—supporting their growth, wellbeing, and engagement.
Safety & Compliance
- Own food safety, health & safety, and allergen management across the department.
- Train and engage staff on safety procedures and compliance standards.
- Participate in safety meetings and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Follow the Rank allergen management framework meticulously.
Essential Experience
- Experience as an F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant GM, or similar role within branded or high-quality independent venues.
- Strong understanding of F&B operations, systems, and compliance.
- Level 3 Food Safety certification (current or expired).
- A passion for leadership, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service.
